Have you ever wondered how Hermes got his lyre (or who Hermes even was)? Or how Aphrodite was born? What about how Kronos was killed? If you did, this is the book for you! This guide includes stories like Jason and the golden ram – the Trojan war and monsters and villains like Circe – the furies and the fates. It talks about the Greek gods like Zeus, Hera, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, and Athena. This guide to Greece myths tells how Oddyseus Tricks the cyclops, Polyphemus (one of my favorite stories). It’s a short book packed with interesting information!
It gives pronunciations of Greek names and words, which is helpful and has colorful pictures that go well with the stories. Expect that you will have most of your questions answered by the end of this book because it answered most of my questions!
I give this book 4 out of 5 book worms.
