Storm Runners

They should have listened to Chase. They should have stayed in the cafeteria at the Palm Breeze Middle School.  Chase knew they shouldn’t have gotten on the school bus to go home, but he was only a kid and no one would listen. Chase and his Dad went wherever a big storm was going to hit. His Dad’s business was to help people re-build after storms. They usually stay just outside the storm center to be safe. This time Chase knew it was going to hit right where he was. Now because they didn’t listen to him Chase, finds himself and two friends stranded in the middle of a hurricane after their school bus crashes. They have to find shelter before it’s too late!

I REALLY liked this book -it was TOTALLY action packed! I think this book is F.E.A.T. (Funny, Exciting, Action-packed, Terrific). It was a real FEAT to put it down and stop reading it!! The book ends in a cliff-hanger and you get the idea that Chase’s day is about to get worse! I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out “Storm Runners -The Surge”. I think the cover gives away part of what Chase and his friends are going to have to face next!

Want to learn more about Roland Smith and his other books? Like -did you know he’s writing Book #4 of the Cahills vs. Vespers -the new 39 Clues Series?!?! He has a bunch of non-fiction books about animals also and other adventure series (I’m reading Tentacles right now!) Check out his website – There is a lot of great information and some cool videos about his books.

I give this book 5 book worms!

  1. Nice blog and a good review. Thanks! Roland has so many great books out. His stories always keep you up reading. I love his nonfiction work, too.

    Read ON!

  2. Wow, I can not even think of a better book. This arthur out did himself. Let me know when a better and more action packed, on the edge book is made.

  3. This really is a good book I but I don’t like cliffhangers
