I think it’d be best if I tell you I’ll be gone for a week (not a weekend, a WEEK). WOW a whole week of camping in the great outdoors! Camping with NO internet connection….nothing to do all day but READ (YAHOO!)….well maybe I’ll find some time for fishing, swimming and roasting marshmallows in there……
So if you comment I won’t be able to get back to you right away (but I will when I get back).
We picked up a couple of books for me to read on our trip. They are:
Super Diaper Baby 2 – By Dav Pilkey
Word After Word After Word – By Patricia MacLachlan
Mockingbird – By Kathryn Erskine
AND
The Invention of Hugo Cabret – By Brian Selznick
and of course I am reading 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and White Fang on my kindle right now.
Pretty good books to choose from!
How many books do you think I get through?
What are you reading this summer?
Have a nice week! 🙂 🙂 🙂 😉

Have fun! I think you’ll read 3 books. I am reading a wrinkle in time.
All of them. Except the ones on the Kindle you weren’t sure worked. Glad you had a good time reading and doing all those things and more!
Not fair! You had inside information!
That is so funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Erik, did you like the camping? Did you have fun with all of us?
Yes I liked camping with everyone! My favorite parts were reading in the morning and swimming!
Glad you had fun! We visited Gettysburg a few years ago. It captured my imagination so completely I started a trilogy about the Civil War! I have to finish the final book this winter.
I just started reading “20,000 Leagues” while I was on vacation last week, too. We’ll have to compare notes.
I really liked Gettysburg and I happened to just start reading your first book 🙂
“20,000 Leagues” is a bit challenging for me because it’s the full version and some of the words are hard, but I really like the story! Be sure to tell me what you think of it!
