Today a friend of mine (Ethan) is doing a guest review on my blog! Ethan just started the third grade and this is his first “official” book review 🙂
Marvin Redpost: A Flying Birthday Cake?
By Louis Sachar
80 Pages – Ages 5 +
Published by Random House Books for Young Readers in 1999
Marvin had a weird dream at night. He thought it meant something. It did. But what? A new kid (Joe) came to Marvin’s school. All the kids made fun of Joe. But when he shared a game they didn’t make fun of him anymore.
I like it because it has good illustrations. I like Joe and Marvin because they are good friends. This is a great book for all ages!
Ethan gives it 5 out of 5 book worms!
Thanks Ethan For The Great Review!
– Erik’s Notes –
Marvin Redpost is a series of books. To learn more about the series click HERE. I’ve read a couple of the books and I think they’re pretty good (like three book worms out of five). I think they are good books for kids starting to read chapter books.
