  1. Great quote Calista and Erik. I think it will resonate with every reader. It reminds me of something E.L. Konigsburg said when I was fortunate enough to interview her. She said that many cultures have followed the ceremony of putting on masks in order to experiencing the life of another person or an animal, and that children’s books serve as our modern day masks.
