With 300 puzzles where you have to fit smaller shapes into a larger shape, “LetsTans” is the perfect game to challenge you! It has easy shapes for beginners, and harder ones for when you get better at it. It also times you and then gives you a rating of 1 through 3 stars depending on how well you did. You also can rotate the smaller shapes and flip them over to make the fit correctly. The puzzles can be pretty challenging! Here is an example –
I enjoyed this game. It was a good challenge for me and it also relaxed me. A couple of times the control keys “froze” up while the timer kept going and then I got I worse score . That got kind of annoying, but other than that, it was a great challenge for me and fun to play. I learned that this type of puzzle is called a Tangram. I have played and reviewed a couple of other puzzle books by Grabarchuk Puzzles. They all were easy to use and really fun. See my review of their Eater Puzzle book HERE and my review of their 303 Puzzles puzzle book HERE. I am pretty surprised at how well they get the puzzles to work on the Kindle. I recommend this ebook game to kids 7+.
I give “LetsTans” four out of five bookworms.

Ooh, I love puzzles and I didn’t even know you could get them for Kindle. Now I will have to NOT get them so I don’t end up doing puzzles when I should be working! 🙂
Well, now. Learn something new everyday. Challenging puzzles.
Love that you are reviewing some nonfiction, too, Erik! Yikes these puzzles look fun. This would be cool for a car trip!
The puzzles ARE fun Miss Marple! It’s great for the car (unless you get car sick) 😉
I used to keep a wooden on the coffee table – you are completely right about being able to unwind when you do them, though mine was just for random creativity! You wouldn’t get that idea from the title though! Do most of the designs suggest a dancing or active figure too?
That’s great, but, what’s a wooden? The designs are all different, but there are a lot of people.
Heh, heh, I left out the word one behind it! My mind is faster than my typing skills!
OH! I thought it was some kind of puzzle or game I never heard of! HA! My reading is faster than my mind skills 😉
And together we make silly writing-challenge participants! I wonder if Julie Hedlund will make that a requirement for 2013!
😀
Oh, electronic tangrams. That’s cool! Is this how you’ve developed your master LEGO building skills?
It is cool. I have “mastered” (not even close! I go too detailed on small things, so they become big) LEGOs by my humongous collection of LEGO sets. 🙂
Looks like a lot of fun. Great that you can do it on a kindle. Fun car activity. I like puzzles.
It IS fun and challenging Ms. Tilton! 🙂
yessh! How come I missed this. I love puzzles. Excellent for travel. Thanks for sharing Erik
It is good! It’s great for in the car! 🙂
When I was younger, I deeply into puzzles. I should check this one out. 🙂 Good alternative to a book during long road trips. 🙂
They work really well on my kindle. It’s pretty cool!
