Today This Kid Reviews Books Goes Purple!

Today is Purple Day and my blog is turning purple in honor of it!

Purple day is a day to bring awareness about Epilepsy. I learned about Epilepsy because of my cyber-friend Renn (son of author Bethany Telles) is “battling” it right now. You can learn more about Epilepsy and Purple Day by visiting the Purple Day website HERE. You can learn more about Renn and his battle with Epilepsy by visiting The Brain of a Jedi.

  1. Bless your sweet soul, Erik, for doing this. Purple just happens to be my favorite colour! Get well soon, Renn. Prayers from Singapore beaming your way. 🙂

  2. Very cool, Erik. You have a great heart.

  3. Great that you are helping to raise awareness of this illness, Erik! Thank you!

  4. Great effort to support. I know so many children who have seizures. Nice tribute to Renn.

  5. Yikes – I have nothing purple to wear! A friend just happened to be on her way to read Harold an =d the Purple Crayon at the elementary school, so I told her about Purple day – hope she passes it on!

  6. I have never heard of Purple Day- but I think it sounds awesome. I know it was today- but I will tell my 5th grade students about it tomorrow. 🙂 I have a friend with epilepsy and I know it can be hard. I have been sending out good wishes to Renn!

  7. Love the purple look. You’re a good friend, Erik!
Thank you very much, too, for finding that error in my Easter math freebie. It’s all fixed and I gave you a little shout-out for coming to my rescue.
    Take care!

  8. Yay for Purple Day! Here’s to finding a cure!

  9. Thanks for the heads up! I will help get the word out!
