The 2013 Asian Festival of Children’s Content starts next week on May 25th in Singapore. The goal of the conference is to bring “together content creators and producers with parents, teachers, librarians and anyone interested in quality Asian content for children around the world.” Click HERE to go to the official website to learn more.
As part of the AFCC, on the 28th of May 2013, 530-630 pm at the Visitors’ Briefing Room of the Central Public Library there will be a panel of experts gathered to talk about children’s books. Who are these ultimate experts?!?
KIDS of course!
Here is a video introducing the kids of the Children, Speak Up! Panel. I hope you enjoy meeting them! I know I will because I have been invited to take part in the panel via Skype! I think it is great that the organizers of the AFCC want to hear from kids!

Thanks Ms. Johnson!
Brilliant children, brilliant video. Thank so much for introducing these children to us!
I’m Skyping to Singapore this morning! I can’t wait! They seem like a great bunch of kids!
Erik! I feel so bad that the video didn’t work out as well as we had hoped, but we heard you just fine, and the entire audience was AWED by your wonderful replies, your intelligent comments, your insightful responses. You are such an inspiration, dear. Vivian Kirkfield was there throughout the session and we were both beaming with pride because we know just how much hard work you put into your blogging and how thoughtful and reflective you are in everything that you do. We are so privileged to have you with us even for just a few minutes, Erik. I hope that our Skype didn’t disrupt your sleeping patterns that much. We were thrilled! 🙂 The room was packed – standing room only kind of packed. Congratulations, dear!
Thank you Miss Myra! I’m back to normal!
