A Blogging Choose Your Own Adventure with the Storyboys!

Have I got an awesome post from some totally terrific Creative Kids today!!!

I hope you join in the fun choose your own story that these brothers created!

This post is part of a Choose Your Own Adventure Story written and hosted by T. Isenhoff and M. Isenhoff on their Storyboys blog. T. is in 3rd grade, and M. is in 6th grade. This story was their winter homeschool project. Travel over to their blog to start at the beginning. Have fun!

Cursed Mansion (1)

“All right, I’ll go in. But if we come out alive you’re buying me a ticket to the next Luke Bryan concert.”

“It’s a deal,” Tony said. He tucked his football under his arm and opened the door.

It was dark in the mansion. The windows were grimy and let in little light. The walls were covered in spider webs and green mold.

“It’s creepy in here,” Ed said. “It would make a great hideout for murders.”

“I hear Connie’s Jewelry Store was robbed last week,” Tony smirked. “Maybe the bad guys hang out here.”

“Listen!” Ed said. “I think I hear music.”

“It’s coming from up there.” Tony pointed up a narrow, rickety staircase. “Come on!”

They crept up the stairs, cringing each time one of the steps creaked. From the landing, a dark hall led to a door. The music was louder now. It was a local country station.

“I wonder who’s in there,” Tony said.

“Whoever it is, they have good taste in music,” said Ed.

“Should we open the door?” Tony asked.

  1. ACK, go back, go back! But wait! If they should open the door they’ll be excitement and tension. Open the door, open the door!

You know I gotta love homeschoolers who write something that sounds this awesome, Erik! You’re doing great on your challenge. So close to your goal. Go, go, go!! 🙂

  2. ACK, I’ve been loosing comments all over the blogosphere lately. Hmmm. I think there’s a comment stealing fiend behind that door. Homeschoolers. I love that! I think they should shut that door, Erik. But then. What fun is that? Open it, open it!

I notice your AR points are inching ever closer to your goal. Go man go! 🙂

    • I knew it was you Ms. Campbell because of your ip address. For some reason your website and email aren’t appearing in the comment form (that’s the stuff that shows you as an approved commenter). I put it in for you but that’s probably why your comments aren’t showing up. 🙂

  3. Wow! What fun! It reminds me of a certain birthday story that got choose-your-own-adventured a while back 🙂 I love things like this – how creative of T and M!
