Creative Kid Thursday! Meet the Dynamic Duo Creators of “The Write Chat”!

Happy Creative Kid Thursday!

I had a great first day of Middle School yesterday. It’s going to be a great year! πŸ˜€

Today I have a great Creative Kid Thursday for you! I am here to tell you about the launch of a new vlog called “The Write Chat” that is run by two Creative Kids! One of the Creative Kids I am sure you’ll recognize (WOO HOO I Finally make it on Creative Kids!) πŸ˜‰

That’s right, Felicia the Fantastic author of “The Perpetual Papers of the Pack of Pets” (see my review HERE) and mastermind of the Stanley and Katrina blog (click HERE) and I are co-hosting a monthly vlog where we interview authors about their books, writing process and any other silly topic that comes to mind.

Our first guests will be coming up in September – I could tell you more about it here but why don’t you click on over to The Write Chat and you can see for yourself! Over there you can sign up to follow and get notified when we put up our monthly vlog. πŸ˜€

Don’t forget to click over to The Write Chat and subscribe to our monthly interviews! You can also check out our introductory video of Felicia and me explaining what The Write Chat is about! CLICK HERE TOΒ  GO THERE!!!!

  1. Yay! Mom is signing me up. I might bark at you when I hear you talking, but don’t be afraid. I don’t bite.

    Love and licks,

  2. Yay, we made it! πŸ™‚

  3. Applause! Applause! Can’t wait!

  4. Erik,

I signed up for email updates but didn’t get the email to confirm… You might want to make sure everything is hooked up correctly for your email sign ups.

  5. Glad to hear your first day went well and congrats on the new vlog! Looking forward to seeing them πŸ™‚

  6. Glad school is good. Remember to take notes- you’ll want to write the best first-person middle grade story/trilogy/baker’s dozen ever written. I hope middle grade is better for you than all the characters I have read–or you have read. πŸ˜†

Congrats on the new venture. I’m going right over to sign up. I wouldn’t miss it. By the way, do you two ever sleep? πŸ™‚

    • I have a writing class that I am really excited about. The teacher seems really nice and I think I’ll learn a lot. πŸ™‚ Thanks for signing up! Nope, no sleep. Felicia and I are somniphobics (yes, I had to look that up πŸ˜‰ ).

      • Me, too. Had to look it up – not afraid of sleep, I just do not sleep much. I bet you will enjoy the writing class. You should be ready to unveil book 2 after this class. Pay attention to indents πŸ™‚ Enjoy yourself. I hope you have a great year!! (I can tell, not sure how, that you like school. I did too, still do, or would if I went). How is Josie adapting? Say “Hi.” πŸ™‚

    • Sue – I can attest that Felicia does not sleep much. πŸ™‚

      • So Felicia does not take after either Katrina or Stanley. What is it with kids today? I slept all I could, especially on days I didn’t need to get up. But then, the Internet, blogs, smart phones, none of this stuff existed. Our phone stayed connected to the wall. πŸ™‚

      • Yes, I remember having a REALLY, REALLY long cord on my phone so I could chat with my friends in my own room. πŸ™‚

  7. WooHoo!, another cool venture. Can’t wait for the interviews!

  8. So this is what you two have been up to! A dynamic duo, indeed!

  9. Such a creative idea! Love it!

  10. Sounds great. Have fun, you guys!

  11. You survived the first day of middle school. Congratulations! An even bigger congratulations goes to you and Felicia for your vlog. I wish I had as much energy as the two of you.

  12. How wonderful that your first day of middle school was great! Yeah!

The vlog interviews sound awesome. Congrats! Super cool idea. πŸ™‚

  13. I’ll have you know I’ve been signed up for AGES, thank you very much! Humph! πŸ˜‰
